River Adventures Outfitters We allow our visitors to come between 9am until 1pm to be put in the river. LAST PICKUP TIME will be at 5:30

After 1pm we stop putting in & are then strictly picking up & returning you to your cars.

IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!
🛟 FRIDAY, JUNE 5TH - WE ARE OPEN!

The weather is looking AMAZING & it is the PERFECT day for floating the river☀️

After a long wait, we are officially kicking off another season of fun, sunshine, laughter, and river memories!

⏰ Park, Pay & Put In: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
🚌 Shuttle Pickups: 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM
⏳ Float Time: Approximately 2.5 - 3 Hours

We are SO excited to see everyone back on the river this weekend!

As ALWAYS, weather & river conditions can change, so please call before heading our way.

A few things to keep in mind:
⚠️ The river still a bit on the HIGH side but in our safe zone.
- Life jackets will not only be provided, but they WILL be REQUIRED and MUST be worn during your entire float today. No exceptions.
- Conditions will still be muddy at both the put-in and exit points.
- This will be a faster float than normal. We are estimating approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

🛟 River Adventures Update 🛟
For SUNDAY the 31st

Y'ALL... we're getting close! We've been watching it all day!! It's dropping SLLLOOOOWWWWW!!!

But as of 7:30pm the river is currently sitting at 1230, which puts us VERY close to our safe floating level of 1200.

🤞 We are hopeful that we'll be able to OPEN tomorrow, Sunday, May 31st, but we're not making that call just yet.

First thing in the morning, we'll head to the river & check conditions before making a final decision. River levels can still change overnight, so we want to make sure everything is safe before sending tubers out.

Keep those fingers crossed for a little more drop overnight!

Saturday May 30th = CLOSED 😢
The river is continuing to go down........just VERY slowly.

Our safe level for tubing is 1200, & the river is currently sitting around 1370 cfs (cubic feet per second) as of 7:30am

Keep in mind that we are an AIR TUBE operation, which means we follow different safety guidelines & river level requirements than canoes & kayaks.

Safety will always be our #1 priority.
Things can change at any time, but as of right now, our best-case scenario would be being able to open later in the day IF CONDITIONS ALLOW.

After closely monitoring conditions, we have made the decision to remain CLOSED Friday, May 29th.

🛑 The river is still well above our safe floating levels, & the safety of our customers ALWAYS comes first. We will continue watching river levels throughout today & will make a decision regarding Saturday's floats as conditions change.

Monday May 25th = CLOSED

Unfortunately, we are STILL CLOSED today due to weather & river conditions. It's very muddy & the river water is not visible so if you or your things go under you will not be able to see it.

We know this isn’t the update anybody wants — trust us, we are JUST as ready as y’all are to get to FLOATIN’ ☀️🛟😭

Unfortunately, the river has gotten TO HIGH for us to safely float people today & raining again good this morning.

As much as we hate making this call, SAFETY will ALWAYS come first at River Adventures. Conditions are just UNSAFE for floating.

We will continue watching the weather & river conditions closely throughout the day to make a decision for Memorial Day 🇺🇸☀️ Have a plan B in place just in case it's another sad day of not floating due to the weather.

We know everybody is excited for float season & we truly appreciate everyone understanding that safety has to come first.

The rain looks to be CLEARED OUT for the day just cloudy ⛅️
- Water levels are STILL SAFE to float AT THIS TIME
⚠️ HOWEVER, the river WILL continue to rise throughout the day from previous rainfall upstream.

IF YOU’D LIKE TO FLOAT TODAY:

The owner will be staying close by & can meet you there to float. UNLESS conditions suddenly change or the river sky rockets. He will let you know current conditions when you call.

A few things to know before coming:
🟤 Get-in area for tubers = MUDDY
🟤 Exit point = MUDDY
Wear shoes you don’t mind getting messy in.

We are continuing to monitor conditions closely to see IF WE CAN FLOAT in between rain showers throughout the weekend 🌦️

River conditions can change VERY quickly depending on lots of things

⚡ Storm timing & safety conditions

So even if it is SUNNY where you are..... conditions on the river could still be unsafe or cause us to CLOSE temporarily.

Well friends...... Opening Weekend 2026 isn’t looking too promising for us right now 😞

As much as we NEED this rain because the river has been SUPER LOW.....we’re still disappointed that the forecast is looking rough & may keep us from opening this weekend 🌧️⛈️

We will continue to watch conditions closely & keep everyone updated right here on our page. Safety always comes first, and river/weather conditions can change quickly.
