ANOTHER MF-ing FRIDAY!
Regular visitors to our JAZZ ROOM will know that we have one of the most comprehensive MAYNARD FERGUSON selections in stock anywhere in the country (and, possibly, the world). Ken’s youthful completist obsession led to multiple copies of originals, reissues, foreign issues, alternate covers, and compilations being held in safety for many, many years. Well, he’s not getting any younger, and it’s time yet again to release some of the captives back into the wild for other collectors and younger generations to enjoy. Pictured here today are five seventies era reissues of the great EmArcy sides from the fifties. We have some of the originals in the bin, as well. We sold the LINN LP12, so there is room on the gear table for this tinkerers delight, a lovely UNITED AUDIO DUAL 1219. This is an “AS IS” sale, so we’ve priced this great table WELL BELOW its market value. As many of you know, we’ve run our other 1219 as the house player frequently. It’s a great turntable.
