Deep Creek Lake water conditions are looking exceptionally good. All the recent rain has stained the water with a bit of turbitity. Not a usual condition at Deep Creek Lake. Take advantage of this rare opportunity before it goes back to being crystal clear water conditions and smooth as glass. I would advise getting on the lake early and getting off the lake early. There will be an excess of mid-day boaters. Happy July 4th !

Deep Creek Lake condition are better now than they were two weeks ago! Water levels came up aproxamitly 1'. Water temps are hovering just under 70° with conditions stabilizing from a weeks worth of rain. Happy Fourth of July weekend everyone, be safe and have fun!

Great fishing weather the next couple of days at Deep Creek Lake after some much needed rain. And at the rate of down river water drainage at the Yough Lake, supplying water to the Mississippi River it makes Deep Creek Lake the safest bet around for fishing stability. Don't forget about Jennings Randolph Lake either! There's bound to be another state record walleye inhabiting that hole.... Just do a brake check on your vehicle before dropping over the mountain! Then it's game on and fish on!

After a evening, night, and morning on Deep Creek Lake. I can certify that the Bass bite is on big time. Topwater, Minnow and Crawler Harness and trolling crankbaits just outside of the weeds is producing non- stop Bass action.

Welcome to the first weekend of "Take Back the Lake Days"...
What a difference in lake traffic and weather!
The Fall Season has touched the maples and other softwoods... The fish are going to be feeding heavily in preparation of cold water. Fall is just around the corner and so are the Walleyes and Jumbo Perch! The current surface temperature is 68° after lots of sun yesterday but I'd bet just a few feet down the temps drop to the the upper fifties. A chance of rain today. A high of 63°.
Winds SE 6 to 12 mph, gusts to 20. Barometric pressure at 30.26 and will probably be dropping some. Looks like a hell of a good day for fishing Deep Creek Lake or Jennings Randolph.
Our Current Bait Menu:
Lrg. Golden Shiners @ $9.00dz.
Lrg. Canadian Nightcrawlers @ $4.00dz
Giant Mealworms (Natural) @ $3.00dz

Deep Creek Lake and surrounding areas are boasting a comfortable 56° last night and even lower tonight, down around 52°. Water temps are lower by eight to ten degrees here than other local lakes. Jennings Randolph Lakes' surface temperature is above 73° this year while Deep Creek Lake is has barely reached 68° two weeks ago. Since then it has been dropping down to 66°. And it's going to continue to fall. Its no wonder why everybody has been catching fish left and right.

08/05/2022

Deep Creek Lake's thermal imaging is showing temps down near 50° on the northern end of the lake and near 60° on the southern end. Barometric Pressure is at 30.2 Hg.. Fishing has been consistently good this year thanks to the weather. Even at mid day!
Our Current Bait Menu:
Lrg. Shiners @ $9.00 dz.
Canadian Nightcrawlers @ $4.00 dz.
Giant Mealworms (Natural) @ $3.00 dz.
