Hey everyone! I haven’t posted anything in years and a lot of you are wondering if I’m still in business. I am. I’m sorry if you tried to reach out and never heard back from me. I stopped using social media and am no longer available to reach via Facebook/Instagram. I have been mostly building guitars and raising our two beautiful boys, Mike and AJ. I’m looking to take in more large scale repairs like refretting, electronics mods/repair, neck resets, structural repairs, and multiple instrument jobs. Hello again everyone! Been a while since I’ve posted anything but we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes. We built an entirely new construction workshop by ourselves from scratch. All the way from pouring the foundation to moving the tools in and setting up shop. We haven’t started taking in repairs again just yet but we plan to soon. More info to come. Stay tuned...

We are currently in the process of building a brand new workshop. In doing so, we will be changing the way we do things to adapt to “the new normal”. J Guitars will be taking in a very limited amount of repair work until our move is complete. We expect to be moved over by end of September. More details to come...

Just got word that we were named Best of Glenside 2020 for Musical Instruments Category! It’s not an easy time for our economy, and especially for small businesses like us. Please remember to support your local businesses as much as you can during these trying times. We are hoping to return to (somewhat) normal operations come May 1st, however, we will just have to wait and see how this plays out. Be safe everyone!

The shop will be closed today. I’m feeling a bit ill with a low grade fever. With all of the hysteria in the news recently I figured it’s better to be safe than sorry. The last thing I would want is to get anyone else sick. I have a feeling I will be back to 100% in no time. Just don’t want to take any chances. We will resume our normal hours next week. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
