Store update 🤍
Owning the store has been my most challenging, fun, and craziest venture yet. This whole journey started in 2021 when I was a freshman in college and applied to work part time at this boutique (Karson’s at the time). Fast forward a couple years, I found myself owning the place and creating my own business?! I never saw myself owning a boutique and storefront right out of college, but trusting the Lord in this venture has been one of my biggest testaments of faith.
I’ve learned so much while owning Hazel on Pine for the past 2+ years. This past year especially has been such a blessing watching it grow! Owning the store has taught me so much about business, retail, marketing, and fully trusting the Lord. All of your support whether it be through social media, visiting the store, modeling for shoots, or shopping our items, has meant SO much to me. It takes a village to carry on a business, and I truly couldn’t be more grateful for the community Hazel on Pine has created.
While I could continue the store and my life in Abilene if I wanted to, I’ve always loved thinking about what life would be like in a place that is completely different from my hometown. I don’t really know life outside of Abilene, and I have been wanting to challenge myself to a new season in a city I’ve always dreamt of moving to.
All that to say, I am moving to New York in January!!! If you know me, you know this has been a dream of mine for basically forever. This move has been in the works for a while, and I am so thrilled to finally announce that it’s finally happening!
The last day of Hazel on Pine will be December 20th. For now we are not going online, and I’m not taking my business to New York while I adjust to city life, BUT there is always room for something new in the future and I’d love to do something later down the road.
Be on the lookout for crazy sales to come and a huge closing party!
This might be the end of one season, but it’s only the beginning of a completely new one. 🤍
