THE SERMON
- Your life isn't going to remain the same.
- God doesn't take people to heaven or hell. that is a choice you make on your own.
-Being rich or poor isn't something God decides in your life: that is a choice you make on your own.
God wants us all to be well.
- Don't sit and think God has a hand in your suffering.
- Today we are going to be sharing the mysteries of the spiritual realm that will change your life.
- Isaiah 40:3 calls us to make a way for our lord.
- This scripture calls us to prepare the way and make our straight so we can see God in our lives: so we can experience God's goodness first hand
- With reference to the verse in Deuteronomy 1:6 ,God pointed out that the children of Israel had delayed on the mountain
- Isaiah received this revelation about preparing the way for our lord long before it even happened.
- In the same way, we need to prepare our paths, so Christ can have a path to pass in order to come into your life
- Many Christians are confused because we expect miracles to land from heaven and fall on our laps.
- Instead you need to clear the path for those miracles to pass in.
- if you don't clear your path, you are delaying your miracle.
- The scripture is urging us to prepare our paths, as we await the arrival of our lord.
- Some of us are waiting for the king to come into our lives, but our unclean paths can't allow for him to come because there is no where for him to pass.
- The scripture in Revelation emphasizes this as Christ says he is at the door and knocks. Whoever hears and opens the door, he will come in and dine with them.
- Take your battles up to the Lord and let him be the one to fight for you.
- Even King David used to pass on his battles onto the Lord and he let God fight them for him.
-Sometimes the Lord will let it seem like the devil is working: but worry not. Victory is yours and God is in control
- Even after his temptation by the devil in the desert, the angels were also present and they joined Christ after the devil had deserted him.
-There is no testimony without a test.
-Whether you are in the desert or not, poor or rich, married or single, clear your path for the Lord.
- Language is very important when you are stating something.
- Always yearn for people to not only hear but also understand what you are saying
- The late Nelson Madiba Mandela once said that if you speak to someone in your language, it enters their mind, but if you speak to them in their language, it sits in their heart.
- God wants to save Uganda, your home, your marriage, your life. But prepare the path for him to pass in.
- Don't be disheartened about people not loving you or caring for you. instead, prepare a path for them to pass through.
- Don't correct the speck in your neighbor's eye before checking yours.
- The Lord hasn't abandoned you: consider that period of loneliness as a preparation period.
- Work on yourself as you prepare for the things you are praying for.
- Teach yourself how to manage your finances, home,life and everything that concerns you
- All you need is a little grooming and makeup. Don't take someone because of their physical traits.
- Instead, allow the will of God to prevail in your life.
-Men, don't do things that are outside the advice of your wife.
- Most men have blundered because of failing to listen to their wives. Women are prophets and foresee alot of things before they even happen.
- Reference made to the parable of the sower whose seeds fell on different places including thorns and yielded different results
- In modern times, thorns symbolize evil that comes to choke the word that you hear. You hear the word but the thorns in your life doesn't allow the word to even sit for a single day in your heart.
- What guarantees your salvation is change and your mindset
- Many people have been disappointed in salvation and if they don't work on their mindset and character, they will keep getting disappointed
- Many of us walk and seem free but we are prisoners and it all has to do with our mindset.
- If you can't change your situation, then change your mind and attitude
- Don't sow your seeds in thorns. First clear the thorns and then sow your seeds
- All the prophets who spoke about the coming of Christ thought he would be coming in their generation.
- However, christ delayed and come several generations later.
- Even today we are still awaiting the return of Christ
- Everything has it season, but did you know that seasons can pass you by?
- If you want Christ to come into your life, do things in the right season
- Work on your paths through which christ will pass.
- For Christ to come and save us on th cross, God also h to wait for the set time.
- God was looking for a redemption model through which to bring christ
- When God saw that the Roman empire had the model he was looking for, then he confirmed that as the true time to bring the saviour.
- If God's standard in your isn't met, the things your praying for won't appear.
- It is also important to know the right time to do something.
- We await the return of Christ to solve our problems,families, nations but to also take the church.
- Go and prepare yourself for the return of our lord Jesus.
