GOOD GLASS
Many glass items such as wine and spirit bottles are not recyclable in Uganda. The result is excess garbage in already overflowing landfills. At Good Glass, we rescue a portion of this 'garbage' and turn it into unique and beautiful household items. Unlike many other recycled glass products which are melted and reshaped, the method we use to make our glasses does not involve a heating element. Thi s ensures that our glasses are truly green, producing far fewer carbon emissions.

In addition, we are a social enterprise which aims to empower the disabled by providing training and jobs in order to enable them to support themselves. We work with local partners like the Good Shepherd Home in Lubiri to create links to the local community that are sustainable and benefit the disabled.

By purchasing any of our products you will help eliminate unnecessary landfill waste and contribute to the empowerment of the disabled in Uganda. Now that's Good Glass.
