Went down a rabbit hole on the idea of the seed of life being what God looks like, so I decided to sketch one….then I saw a face and here we are😅

Not trying to go too in-depth on it because I’m just enjoying watching my aesthetic carve out as I refine my digital art-skills, knowing it’ll by extension develop my analog art-skills. But I’m always so in love with how art and creation takes on a mind of its own…whether a sketch, a product, a baby or anything else that transmutes from a ‘nothing’ yo a ‘some thing’…

I guess I ended up going a bit deep after all😅

I think it’s weirdly appropriate that the first time I post since, my last post, that it’s the sun😄☀️

Also of note: my intent for October was abruptly benched by my ‘main job’, though gracefully so! It was a couple of months that brought about some growth, so I must give thanks for that✨

In between work and developing new ideas, I’m focused towards balance by letting the previous run it’s course, while allowing the former to have its moment…appropriate for the coming new year…☺️

Deck update:

We’re (finally) actively writing guides for Vol 1, taking the advice of one of my deck stockists (fingers crossed they still want me, cause it’s been 3 years lol)…which is important and quite a challenge. If only in that my intuition guides me on one hand, but the more you see is the more discovered. And because it’s also a more minimal deck, there aren’t many ties to the traditional colours and symbols, left for numbers of the Major Arcana.

A challenge indeed😅

But I’ve decided to commit to 3 simple points per position, for a total of 6 points per card and I also have an idea of how I’d like the guides to be presented, which I think can be cool and aesthetically pleasing.

So all in all I’m excited that I’ve finally made some progress.

Speaking of guides, I did a spread😅 it’ll be on my next post. I had fun with it and felt it was a solid check-in to share…hope you find some fun with it too. I did a general shuffle to almost ‘test’ it and I’m hoping someone can drop their advice on the cards pulled, so we can all learn a bit more about it…because the points I got from it are long, I’m thinking to add that as a guide in the journals/blog tab on this profile.

Maybe I’ll commit to doing this once a month and throw up what I get for you guys? It’s an intent (here we go again🤣. But it’s a new year man, let’s see!

It’s Inktober but my goal is to POST cart-work this month (get it? Cause cartomancy? Ha)✨

Everytime I see a full moon she has this face⚪️

Like tarot, the moon has major and minor phases. Though this illustration is full, we’re in the minor phase of a waxing crescent.

This phase is a great time to build self assurance and plan.

And as today is Sunday, a focus on building self and hashing out a plan gets an extra boost!

Overlapping projects have caused slight delays, but those delays brought about some long awaited wishes.

The last step in my Vol. 01 Tarot Deck is the write up. I’m torn between getting deep into symbolism, or keeping the light-hearted minimalist energy of the artwork…

Which…now that I’ve ‘said’ it out loud…it seems pretty obvious which one I should choose😅

I’ve also decided to do small batch orders, with only nine of this volume that’ll be available for sale✨

But I will have merchandise that’ll be available for you take the moods with you (my main job is in fashion + design and therefore art must be wearable😅).

I’ve always believe in the force of symbols sometimes you may not be able to whip out your deck BUT you can always throw on a tee, slip on a phone case, put a print on your wall for your meditation space or take a sip in the Ace of Cups😁
