It was so wonderful to see neighbors connecting, clothes finding happy new homes, and the community coming together to celebrate five years of memories. Events like this simply wouldn't be possible without your warmth, your laughs, and your fantastic pre-loved style gems.

The Faces of Marketplace💖

Behind Marketplace by SOS is an incredible group of people - our shop manager Khun Wan, and past shop managers Khun Jezz and Khun Gung, along with Claudia, Niki K, Karen-Lee and Robyn, plus an amazing team of helpers - who have brought the shop to life over the past 5 years.

They’ve sorted donations, styled shelves, welcomed customers, and given their time with heart.

Some have been there from the early days, others joined along the way — but all have helped shape the spirit of the shop.

The Swap: Bring up to five clean, pre-loved items to share and find some "new-to-you" treasures. It’s the perfect way to refresh your wardrobe for the season! 👗♻️

The Celebration: In honor of our 5th Birthday, we’ll have extra treats alongside our usual coffee and cookies. Whether you’re a Marketplace regular or visiting for the first time, come help us blow out the candles! 🎂🎉

Marketplace by SOS turns 5 🎉

What started as a simple idea — and a big-hearted dream — has grown into something truly special.

Five years ago, with the vision of Ambassadors Yvonne and Juliette, and the support of a passionate community, our little shop with a big heart, “Marketplace by SOS” began with a handful of donations, a lot of hard work, and a belief that small actions can create real change.

Since then, the shop has become so much more than a place to buy pre-loved items.

💛 Thousands of items have been saved from landfill
💛 Funds raised have supported SOS programs helping children and families in need
💛 A community has grown around giving, reusing, and supporting one another

From dedicated shop managers and helpers, to Coffee ’n Chat afternoons, Swap ‘n Style sessions, and the joy of our annual Christmas markets — this space has become a true community hub.

To everyone who has been part of the journey — thank you 💛
