KOH PHI PHI // For a while, I stopped drawing. Like many digital artists, I started wondering what was the point of spending 30 hours on an illustration when images can now be generated in seconds.
I started this new artwork because many people had been asking me for a poster of Koh Phi Phi. And somehow, while working on it, I became absorbed by the process again. Same old techniques: sketching, searching for references, for visual compositions, creating the 3D world, painting over it, adjusting the colors, adding details...
I didn't see the hours passing, just the simple joy of creating worlds. That's the point of it.
There are still many places in Thailand that I want to explore and turn into posters.
So let's continue the journey.
