อินทรี ฮาร์ปี้ (Harpy Eagle)
เป็นนกล่าเหยื่อ ที่มีลักษณะโดดเด่นคือมีขนาดใหญ่ แข็งแรง และเป็นนักล่าที่น่าเกรงขาม พบในป่าดิบชื้นอเมริกากลางและใต้
• จะงอยปาก: แข็งแรง ใหญ่ และโค้งงอแหลมคม ใช้ในการฉีกเหยื่อ
• กรงเล็บ (Talons): มีขนาดใหญ่และแข็งแรงมาก พร้อมด้วยเล็บแหลมคม ใช้ในการจับเหยื่อและยึดเกาะกิ่งไม้
• สายตา: มีสายตาที่เฉียบคมเป็นพิเศษ สามารถมองเห็นเหยื่อจากระยะไกลหลายกิโลเมตร
• ปีก: มีปีกที่กว้างและแข็งแรง ทำให้บินได้สูง ลอยตัวได้ดี และร่อนได้เป็นเวลานาน
• เป็นผู้ล่าอันดับต้นๆ (Apex Predator) ในระบบนิเวศของพวกมัน
• ส่วนใหญ่กินเนื้อสัตว์เป็นอาหาร
• การล่าเหยื่อโดยการบินร่อนอยู่สูงบนฟ้า หรือซุ่มอยู่บนกิ่งไม้สูง แล้วโฉบลงมาจับเหยื่ออย่างรวดเร็วและแม่นยำด้วยกรงเล็บอันทรงพลัง
