Our pieces are presented alongside designers from around the world, as part of an exhibition featuring over 200 designs.

At Modesi, we explore the intersection of architecture, culture, and chocolate, translating spaces into bite-sized forms.

From Singapore’s urban language to inspirations from our travels, each piece is a story, crafted in chocolate.

We are a design studio. We are storytellers. We are preservationists.

We just happen to work in chocolate.

Founded by an urban planner and an architect, MODESI began with one question: how do you make heritage tangible?
We found the answer in chocolate — a medium that crosses cultures, opens conversations, and carries memory in ways that words alone cannot.
Every piece we create begins not in a kitchen, but at a drawing board. Architecture becomes mould. Heritage patterns become texture. Cultural stories become something you can hold in your hands and give to someone you love.

We’re incredibly honoured to share that Ashwa Nova Edible Art has received recognition at the A’Design Award & Competition 🏆

What started as just an idea to create something truly different in the Year of the Horse, slowly evolved into a sculptural edible art piece inspired by movement, strength, grace and legacy.

Ashwa Nova was envisioned as more than just chocolate. It became an exploration of edible storytelling, where computational design, craftsmanship and 3D printing come together to transform chocolate into art.

This recognition means a lot to us as a studio constantly experimenting at the intersection of design, architecture, technology and chocolate.

Thank you to everyone who believed in our unconventional ideas and supported our journey along the way.

Here’s to continuing to push the boundaries of what chocolate can become.
