A special mother & daughter private Tsumami Zaiku session filled with smiles, creativity and precious memories. ❤️

This was our little crafter’s Joreen’s ‘s second visit to our studio with her mummy Joyce . Both came for our DIY kit workshop in 2024. it was amazing to see how much she has grown! She knew exactly what to do, folding each petal mindfully and confidently picked up her tweezers to carefully decorate the flower centre with tiny pearls like a pro.

Using recycled tissue box material and beautiful upcycled yukata fabric, she transformed everyday materials into a stunning handmade flower. Be sure to watch till the end to see the beautiful finished creation! 🌺

While daughter immersed herself in crafting, mummy made the most of her time with a refreshing 30-minute Infrared Workout - the perfect combination of self-care, creativity and quality bonding.

Due to popular demand, new workshop dates have been added! If none of the current slots work for you, do let us know your preferred dates or timing and we will do our best to arrange a session for you.

Our workshops introduce participants to Tsumami Zaiku, a traditional Japanese fabric folding craft using authentic Chusen dyed fabric, upcycled from yukata cloth. Each piece celebrates its vibrant colour and craftsmanship, made possible through an eco-friendly, zero waste philosophy that gives new life to beautiful fabric.

Beyond the technique, Tsumami Zaiku is a form of mindful crafting. Here is what participants take away from every session:

Watching this community grow has been one of our greatest joys. ❤️

We are truly grateful for our amazing team, and so touched that spouses and family members came by to lend a helping hand and support us throughout the event. Your encouragement and unwavering support mean the world to us.

A dream that began in early 2024 has now become a reality. Together, we have built a growing community of Tsumami Zaiku artisan trainers who are not only mastering a beautiful Japanese craft, but also building their own brands and taking confident steps on their entrepreneurial journey. It is a journey that requires dedication and perseverance , and every milestone makes it worthwhile.

Tsumami Zaiku is so much more than mindful crafting. It brings together like minded people, nurtures lasting friendships, inspires creativity, builds confidence and self assurance, creates a sense of purpose, and fills our hearts with happiness, contentment and a deep sense of self fulfilment. Above all, it gives us the opportunity to serve others through the beauty of handmade creations and the spirit of Japanese Omotenashi (thoughtful hospitality).
