Art class - one of our favourite holiday programs at our favourite art studio. Van Gogh style inspired self portrait @ Chalk n Pencils.

I wanted to challenge myself to draw a self portrait (of course the kids had little choice 😂). They only wanted Sumikko Gurashi or Pokemon. We held a mirror each and tried to draw ourselves. It was not easy!

Van Gogh self portrait style calls for painting with short, rough brushstrokes so the difficulty was intensified.

By the way, my girl asked why my version showed a younger mummy without grey hairs. 😰😂

P.S. my boy included a hint of Pikachu - can you spot it?
