Today in Argentina we are celebrating the Vendimia Festival.
During the celebration, a six episodes movie called "Historias de Vendimia" will be projected, and we wanted to share with you its trailer.

Open your eyes and travel to Mendoza, meet their people, and love our culture. It's in Spanish, but it doesn't matter because you don't need words to understand the passion and love for wine, the grapes, the landscape, and the harvest. ENJOY IT!

The summer is coming to its end in Argentina and that means that the Vendimia is here.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Vendimia is not only about the grape harvest season it's also celebrating the love and effort towards making wine and the people that make the wine cycle possible.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The first official Vendimia Festival took place in Mendoza in 1936; however, since 1913, the people from Mendoza have been celebrating it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But what is The Vendimia Festival? Well, it's a series of different musical and dancing events that every year represent the history of the grape harvest, the land, and their people. It's a national event, and it's incredible to visit Mendoza during this period. I highly recommend living this magical celebration, at least once in your life!.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This week, the Scientific Reports published a research study done by The Catena Institute of Wine where it was proven the existence of terroir and its persistence across vintages in Argentinian Malbec wines. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This indicates that Malbec wines can express flavors and distinctive characteristics depending on the specific place (location) they grow. In other words, that the Argentinian Malbec has its personality and uniqueness.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But why talking about a "Terroir" is so important? Well, because terroir means "the sense of place" of a wine. It refers to the combination of natural and human factors that unequivocally identify the wine, and it makes it stand apart from wines produced elsewhere.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
