Story of my daily life.
How we ensure our Quality, Freshness, Trust-Worthy, Healthier, Integrity of our business for what both of we and our customers pay of:
1230am:
Waking up and go to Jurong Fishery port to do our routine check
1. Our product is mostly freshly catch from sea and import through freight rather than shipment base on sea as the duration required to reach Singapore port for freight is faster compare to ships to ensure freshness and quality for the fishes
2. Running through a second check for what our suppliers reserved for us through our ordering from previous day to provide our customers the best quality of fishes in what they pay for.
How we guarantee the quality of fish:
Step 1: Testing the firmness of body of fishes
Step 2: Checking the stomach only contains air rather than indigestive food they ate to avoid bad or smelly stomach
Step 3: Checking the gills whether is fresh enough for sale
Step 4: Smelling the fish thru their gills to check on bad smell or fuel smell
All these checks including new purchases of small fishes for new arrival from land transport required a duration of 2 hours.
3am to 4am:
Descaling of fish scales and loading up our stocks before leaving to wet market stall.
4.30am to 6am:
1. Reserving fish through a third check for customers base on previous order and the rest will be display at our front stall for purchases.
2. Packing of freight import (Thailand Grey Prawns (best known for its quality of prawns) ) into 500g per packs to avoid broken heads to my customers, my prawns is the only one that can be kept for maximum of 6 months (tested and proven by customers) without adding any preservations as sea prawns contains sea salt and is kept dry before freight import. Rinse with water before consuming as sea salt need to be wash away. You test and try it; you would not prefer any other prawns. 😊
6am to 11.30am:
Business will be carried out for our regulars from the past since 1979 including their family.
12pm to 1pm:
Washing and cleansing of our stall using detergent to ensure cleanliness in our stall.
1pm to 3.30pm:
Deliveries will be done during these period and home about 3 to 3.30pm.
