Gotland, august 1, 2026.☀️
Gotland is a fantastic Swedish island whose limestone bedrock was formed around 420 million years ago, when the area lay near the equator beneath a warm tropical sea.
Today, the island has a unique terroir and is home to numerous producers of vegetables, fish and seafood, as well as traditional smokehouses. The Vikings once lived and traded here, and Visby’s medieval city wall still surrounds the historic town centre. 🇸🇪 ⚔️
