Pedido feito pela querida Marcela, mãe do Max e fã do Totoro. Toda pintura exige estudo e pesquisa prévios, então resolvi assistir ao filme Meu Amigo Totoro para poder criar essa pintura com familiaridade. E que delicia foi ter contato com uma animação tão linda e emocionante, Totoro ganhou novos fãs aqui em casa! Nesta pintura temos o pequeno Max com seus amigos mágicos da floresta. Tons suaves de verde predominam para representar a densidade da floresta e o musgo na árvore. As transparências da aquarela criam a atmosfera de sonho. O colorido de algumas flores indicam que a primavera também está lá. Mais uma pintura com cenário para eu me orgulhar ❤️.
For all painting there is a study and previous research, so I decided to watch the film My Neighbor Totoro in order to create this painting with familiarity. And what a delight it was to have contact with such a beautiful and exciting animation! In this painting we have the little Max with his magical forest friends. Mild shades of green predominate to represent the density of the forest and mosses on the tree. The transparencies of the watercolor create the atmosphere of dream. The color of some flowers indicate that spring is also there. Another painting with scenery for me to be proud of ❤️

The first day of the Botanical Watercolor course is coming! Many people would like to be part of it, but they can't attend all the days. It is very important for me that everyone who wants to can have the opportunity to learn Watercolor painting with me. Duas pinturas de minha autoria foram selecionadas por um juri de especialistas para fazerem parte da exibição de arte de primavera em Solna Konsthall. As pinturas que escolhi são retratos de duas mulheres brasileiras que representam a diversidade de historias e lutas femininas no nosso País. Fiquei feliz e honrada pela seleção, principalmente pelo que isso significa neste mês de conscientização. Estão todos convidados para a vernissage (16 de março, 17h - 19h), e para visitar a exibição que finalizará no dia 12 de Abril. Sejam bem-vindos

I'm sorry, everyone, but I don't believe in innate talent. I believe in practice and passion. So if you're someone who believes you don't know how to draw or paint, and therefore aren't capable of creating art, I have good news for you: you're completely wrong. Start practicing now, and be consistent in your studies, and I promise you that "talent" will emerge.

I am constantly studying ways to teach watercolor painting to beginner students.

Every class I teach is a learning experience for me as an instructor.
