This classic Dala horse is immediately recognizable as coming from Rättvik, the town in Dalarna where this style was developed in the early 1950s. It is gray with characteristic white dots and pretty snowflake patterns on the body. This horse is a rare example of an early Rättvik horse, dating back to the late 1950s and made by John Gudmunds, a well-known Dala horse maker at the time. It was also featured in the book "Antique Dalahorses" published in 2020.

These colorful houses are made of ceramic and are copies of the oldest buildings in Stockholm! The original houses stand in the main square (Stortorget), just a few steps away from our shop. These ceramics make beautiful decorations and look lovely individually or as a group. They are also candle holders!
