🥇 Bosch has been voted to be Finland's "Most Trusted Brand" 2024 within the Major Domestic Appliance (MDA) category Brand 2024. The Most trusted award is handed out by Reader's digest which Valitut Palat is a part of.

🏆 Bosch got a total of 18,4 % of the votes within the MDA category. The survey respondents had to evaluate the brands within different characteristics where Bosch received the highest ratings in the categories combined.

The last time Bosch brand got the award was in the years 2018 - 2020, so we are very happy that we gained back this recognition. It takes a lot of hard and dedicated work to get recognized by consumers and win an award as MOST TRUSTED MDA BRAND. It is a joint effort so a big congratulation and shout out to all colleagues in Finland and elsewhere in BSH Northern Europe, who works with promoting the Bosch brand every day."

CIL Suomi Oy/Valitut Palat commissioned the annual survey for the 24th time in partnership with the research agency Norstat Finland Oy. The survey was conducted online with 2.296 respondents where a total of 34 different product categories was evaluated.

Since September 1, 2023, has been using CO2-reduced stainless steel for dishwasher manufacturing, marking the first time ever for such usage.

At our dishwasher production site in Dillingen (Germany), we utilize partially CO2-reduced stainless steel sourced from our partner, Aperam. This stainless steel has a footprint that is up to 47 percent lower than conventional stainless steel, emphasizing our ambition to achieve our corporate targets in the area of sustainability. By 2030, BSH aims to reduce the indirect CO2 footprint (Scope 3) by 15 percent in absolute terms compared to 2018, despite growth.

To achieve this, we are mainly employing two strategies. On the one hand, we offer our consumers particularly energy-efficient products that enable them to save energy and therefore money at home. Additionally, we are increasingly focusing on production materials that have a smaller carbon footprint. That's why we are pleased that we're working with Aperam to advance the decarbonization of our value chain.

Already since 2020, we have been developing and manufacturing CO2-neutral (Scope 1&2) at all our sites worldwide.

🥇 BOSCH vacuum cleaner Testfakta test winner 🥇

We are very proud to announce that Bosch vacuum cleaner BGB7X420/25 was the test winner in Testfaktas recent vacuum cleaner test. The test winner was found prominent within the following parameters:

⭐ Great overall absorbency ability
⭐ Great absorbency of bigger particles on hard floors
⭐️ Great absorbency of hair and fibre from textiles
⭐️ Very low emission of particles
⭐️ Easy handling, especially change of vacuum bag

We are especially proud of this result, as the test was carried out at the independent accredited laboratory SLG Prüf- und Zertifizerierungs Gmbh.

The test result shows that Bosch vacuum cleaner BGB7X420 is a great overall quality product and fits perfect to most households' needs. Our consumers are expecting that we offer the best quality and value for money, and this Bosch vacuum cleaner has proven to be to be just that.

🙌 Good news about prolonging spare part availability and product usage!

BSH is extending the availability of spare parts for most of its large appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, and stoves from 10 to 15 years. Spare parts for small appliances, including fully automatic coffee machines or vacuum cleaners, will also be offered for longer, with BSH extending their availability from 7 to 10 years for most models. This refers to all functionally relevant and storable parts for appliances produced after 1 January 2023.

This means our home appliances can be repaired if needed, so we can have them in our home for even longer. Longer product lifetimes can help preserve valuable resources and reduce electronic waste.

At BSH in 2022 we increased our self-generated solar electricity production by 4.5 GWh. That’s enough to power an electric car for 20.6 million kilometers!
Our total for the year was 15GWh, which could charge 2.5 billion iPhone 5 or 1.2 billion iPhone 14.
And by 2030 we aim for 100 percent green electricity at all our sites, which for one business is a great result.

🥇 BOSCH wins the BEST BUY AWARD 2023 in LATVIA and ESTONIA! 🥇

We are very proud to announce that the Bosch brand again this year has been awarded the Best Buy Award in Latvia and Estonia in the Home Appliances Category.

⭐️ The award is granted by 1200 consumers per country answering the question: which brand would you name as the BEST in terms of the PRICE AND QUALITY RATIO within the Home Appliances category

⭐️ The Swiss institute ICERTIAS - International Certification Association is behind the BEST BUY AWARD

Bosch won the first Best Buy Award for Home Appliances in 2017 in Lithuania, and there has not been a single year since 2017 when at least one of the Baltic countries won this great recognition.

The medal is becoming more relevant these years, as price-sensitive consumers are expected to seek out products and services that offer the most value for their money.
