We'll be closed this week and reopen next week at the usual hours.

Our annual anniversary party is now planned for Sunday, Oct 15, starting at 16.30 (4.30 pm). NB, as they say in Sweden. It's Sunday and not Saturday.

There will be a Haydn flute trio, an Indian raag, along with something that our favorite actors, Kevin Benn and Robin Gott are cooking up. So do make sure to come and join in the fun.

In honor of gallery weekend we have transformed our alcove for 20kr books into a gallery displaying the works of Thomas Ingre, here shown in action this afternoon. So that gives you one more reason to come by tomorrow or Saturday.

It being Gallery weekend we will be open on Friday night from 7 to 9 or so, as well as at the normal hours this week. It's always a lively time to stroll around Malmö so do come by.

We will be closed next week as we are traveling to Barcelona to celebrate Paula's fourth birthday. Open again on Oct 5.

One of our storage rooms is filled with boxes of books that belonged to Agneta Sederowsky, who passed away earlier this year. Agneta was a friend of the store from the beginning, and the wonderful joie de vivre that she brought with her on her frequent visits will be sorely missed. There are books and lps in French, Spanish, Italian, and English as well as Swedish that will take many months to find their way onto our shelves, so in the meantime, you can do what one customer did yesterday and take some boxes out of the storage room for closer inspection.

And don't forget: we'll be open tomorrow from 2 to 5 (14.00 to 17.00) so that my grandchildren from Barcelona get a chance to enjoy the place.

Somebody's wearing my hat. And since she's visiting us this week with her family we will be closed on Thursday and Friday but open on Saturday, and, for one time only, on Monday from 2 to 5 so that Paula and her big brother can help me in the store.
