Navitas started LiU Student Secondhand (LSSh) to create a circular flow of furniture between student-currently there is no one to take care of the facebook group meaning messages to us here will not be answered. LSSh is one of the six committees of the non-profit student association Navitas, which focuses on inspiring and spreading knowledge about sustainability.

Hello, March is here, and spring is approaching. We also want to remind you that it is still possible to apply for positions on the Navitas board, where you can, among other things, apply for the position of LSSH chairperson.

As a Shop Worker, you will work in LSSh’s shop during opening hours and help out during our events.

Through LiU Student Secondhand you will meet new people from different programs, but with a shared passion for spreading sustainable thinking at LiU.

We are looking for someone that enjoys meeting new people, is service-minded, likes secondhand, and that is interested in creating a more circular and sustainable student life.

LiU student second hand will be open normally again from January the 15th onwards. Just come by our shop in A-Building during one of our opening hours or visit our website (link in our bio) to see what we offer.

Our opening ours are:
Mondays: 12:15-13:00
Thursday: 12:15-13:00 & 17:30-19:00

SAVE THE DATE for our Free Transportation Day!
Saturday 16th of December
Yes, you heard right: We are offering transportation of the furniture you buy or hand in at LSSh for FREE!
We know that it can be difficult to carry big and heavy furniture to or from our shop if you don’t have a car and therefore, we organize and take care of transportation and pick up and deliver your furniture.
How does it work?
-> You buy a piece of furniture at our shop on Campus Valla - OR - you sell items at our shop by submitting a hand in request for an item you want to sell / donate on our website.
-> You register for the free transportation day by filling out the form that is linked in our bio.
-> When the registration closes on the 13th of September at 23:59 and once we’ve planned the route, we’ll contact you by email with a preliminary time of pick up/delivery.
-> On the day of the transport event we’ll contact you by phone when we are on the way to you, so that you can get ready/carry down the furniture to the street.

Join us for a sustainable and fun-filled clothing swapping events on Campus Valla and Campus US. It’s time to refresh your wardrobe without spending a dime! Bring your gently used clothing items and swap them for “new-to-you” second-hand clothes.
When and where?
- Skrivsalen in Kårallen, Campus Valla from 11:00 - 14:00
- Hasselqvist, Campus US from 11:00 - 14:00

How it works:
Bring your Clothes: Raid your closet and gather those quality garments you no longer wear, but are in good condition.
Swap for “New” Clothes: Exchange your pre-loved items for something fresh from someone else’s collection.
You can drop off your clothes at LSSH during our opening hours before the event. If you are not able to drop them off before, you can drop off the clothes during the event.
Get a Swapping Ticket: When you bring your items, you’ll receive a swapping ticket to use at the event. The more you bring, the more options you’ll have to revamp your wardrobe.
