A few weeks ago we hade the privilege to meet up with Axel Boström for a brief chat and to put a microchip-implant in his left hand. Here is his short story.
Axel is a young (21 years old!) entrepreneur from Sweden. His startup company is tackling the imbalance between employer and employee on the job-search market. The problem on the old market is that the companies have all the leverage and power. “They are in charge and the people looking for a job has to meet almost impossible requirements to get a shot at a dream position. This can give a lot of negative implications both for the employer and for the wellbeing of person. Honesty is definitely not an advantage, on either side. We wanna change all of this. We want to put the individual in charge of his/her own career. The market is broken and we aim to fix it”, Axel Says. He’s company Jojnup uses behavioral science and AI to match people with their dream job. And puts all the benefits of AI to the sole purpose of helping the user.
Axel uses his chip on a daily basis at Convendum, a co-working office space in Gothenburg. He’s a former slalom skier and creates music on the side. And now he’s also moderately improved :)
