Recently, I had the pleasure of working on a unique and challenging project – repairing a vintage Slovenian Mengeš guitar, likely from the 1950s. This beautiful instrument had been sitting in an attic for over six decades and was completely unplayable, with 42 fractures, including a major break in the headstock.

The restoration process was long and exhausting due to the wood’s instability, but after much hard work, it has been transformed back into the stunning piece it once was. I’m thrilled that this guitar will soon return to the hands of its original owner, ready to bring joy once more.
