Job Title: Planning & Purchasing Manager:

Alsuhaili for Trading and Development Company is a multi-brand distributor, established in 1975, specializing in supplying all low voltage products under the electrical business unit and swimming pool products under the S.Pools business unit.
The company has a well-established structure that serves our customers through its two main warehouses in Jeddah & Dammam, in addition to 11 showrooms that serve our customers all over the kingdom. Position Summary:
The Planning & Purchasing Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and executing purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives. This position requires strategic thinking and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure product availability, cost control, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Negotiate contracts and supplier policies, serving as the primary liaison with suppliers.
2. Manage supplier relationships, including communication, performance evaluations, and issue resolution.
3. Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies to optimize stock coverage and cost-effectiveness.
4. Plan stock refills based on system analysis integrated with sales feedback to fulfil company targets.
5. Monitor stock movement per supplier and take appropriate actions to maintain optimal stock turnover.
6. Implement various purchasing models based on contractual, annual, campaign, and limited purchases.

7. Apply FSN analysis and set minimum & maximum stock levels for each category.
8. Oversee the purchasing process from procurement to storage, ensuring efficient time control.
9. Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve business models without compromising quality.
10. Maintain compliance with governmental regulations and ensure accurate HS code identification.
11. Analyzes inventory levels, demand forecasts, and consumption patterns to optimize stock levels.
12. Stay updated on regulatory requirements related to sourcing activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory), Master's degree in Supply Chain Management (preferred).5+ years of experience as a planning & purchasing manager.
• Proficiency in procurement principles, strategies, and best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and contract skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and vendor management software.
• Analytical skills for market trends, demand forecasts, and risk mitigation.
• Proficient in data gathering and analysis, with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in budgeting, cost optimization, and negotiation techniques.
• Knowledge of global sourcing, logistics, and supply chain best practices.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Knowledge of local and national procurement regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
