Brushed some silver and rose gold flakes directly on the silicone mold for this multi purpose resin tray and filled it with resin with grey pigment. Didn't pour a clear layer later that usually gives a glossy look because I kind of liked this raw/ slightly rough and porous look it had initially... ✨️💗

Custom packaging of the resin plaque I posted yesterday... ✨️
Tried a new golden vinyl for the box and FELL IN LOVE with it... Cuts smoothly, weeds like butter! 😍♥️ I felt like I could work with it for hoursss!!! 😃😍 It's not a shiny and bright kind of gold but instead it's subtle and veryyy pretty! 😍♥️

18 April 2023...
Tried a new silicone mold and some glitters for the first time... Learnt some basic wire wrapping, still struggled a lot and finally these pieces were made... Ruined the letter 'S' in the mold while popping the bubbles in the resin and as a result the silicone got stuck to letter 'S' when I took it out... 💀
So much happens when we try something new. I feel like I should share these stories too once in a while. 😃 It reminds us to keep practicing no matter how many times we fail... & someday I will look back at these posts and notice the improvement in my work! It's all about slow progress. It's never about perfection!
