We are delighted to share that our master expert and performer Maria Sosnina, together with her AG flute, is currently performing at the 2nd Flute Arts Festival and the 5th Royal Academy of Music Masters Festival, taking place in Dalian, China, from June 5 to June 7.

As part of the festival program, Maria is performing both as a soloist and as a member of an ensemble alongside musicians from different countries, showcasing the sound of our professional Atelier Goncharov flute, crafted entirely from silver.

For us, participation in such an international event is an opportunity to engage in a meaningful cultural dialogue that brings together musicians, educators, and performers from around the world.

We are cheering for Maria, wishing her every success, and looking forward to meeting the festival participants in Dalian!

From June 5 to 7, 2026, we will take part in an international exhibition held as part of a series of masterclasses for trombonists at the Euritmia Music School in Povoletto, Italy.

This is a great opportunity for us to once again present our trombones to musicians from around the world and receive valuable professional feedback.

We look forward to meeting the participants of the masterclasses at the Atelier Goncharov presentation and introducing you to our trombones in person!

In this video, Antoine Houzelle — a performing trombonist and professor at the Paris Conservatory fourteenth arrondissement — shares his impressions of the Atelier Goncharov professional trombone «Model X».

Antoine not only performs on our instrument, but has also recorded an entire album of works by Russian composers on it. This is a special honor for us and a testament to the instrument’s high professional standard.

The process of milling the pivot holes in the bore channels of the bassoon boot joint:

• deep drilling of channels positioned at angles relative to each other

• setting the precise length of the blank

• precision boring of the joint pivot dimensions

This stage of production requires the utmost care and machining accuracy.

The quality of this work directly affects the airtightness of the connections and the longevity of the instrument.

Testing our instruments by professional musicians in orchestral conditions is one of the key stages in achieving high-quality sound.

We are expanding our trumpet production capabilities and are currently working on a new professional model.

Nikita Loginov, soloist of the Russian National Orchestra, took the instrument to test it in real working conditions and has already shared his first impressions with you :)

Today, our factory was visited by members of the trombone section of the musicAeterna orchestra — Arman Surtaev, Andrey Saltanov, and Vladimir Kishchenko.

Despite their busy concert schedule, the musicians found time to visit us, test new trombone models, and explore our latest developments.

We truly appreciate the attention and interest that musicians of this level show toward our instruments. Thank you for your visit, trust, and professional perspective on our work!

Drilling the bassoon’s tone holes at an angle is one of the most difficult processes in instrument making.

The main challenge is to find and maintain the ideal drilling angle position. Doing this manually is practically impossible. But here, on the machine, we set the parameters with micron precision.

The instrument’s flawless intonation and clarity of sound depend on it.

The main advantage of our student bassoons is the inclusion of professional keywork!

It is very important to us that young performers are not limited in the development of their skills and can hold a true professional instrument from the very beginning.

The Atelier Goncharov student bassoon, was tested and reviewed by Nikolai Kustov, soloist of the Nizhny Novgorod Philharmonic Orchestra named after M. L. Rostropovich.

What does the place where sound is born look like?

Over the past few days, the Atelier Goncharov factory has become the filming location for the documentary “SOUND ON!”, created with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

The film will tell the story of the craftsmen, technologies, and people behind the creation of musical instruments in Russia.
It is a great honor for us to become part of this project.

The film is directed, written, and produced by Nikita Tikhonov-Rau. Production is carried out by Artvideo Studio LLC, part of the Third Sector group of companies. The creative producer of the project is Olga Arlauskas, and the director of photography is Anton Burmaga.

And for now — a few backstage moments from the filming process.
