On a personal note, I guess it's weird, or faux pas for someone who draws letters to not recognize their own typeface, a sign of the times maybe. The calendar is right in front of my eyes on the desk. I have probably thorn the previous day page a couple of hours back, out of habit, and went about it. Then, there I was looking at that 13, thinking it's nice. It took me a while to get it. Free Palestine!

Contemporary, simplified blackletter typeface inspired by volumetric whole signage. The design and most of the decisions were influenced by the process of making volumetric letters for signages using CNC and aluminium profile bending machines. The letter shapes were thought out and constructed with very little contrast (where possible) or modulation in the strokes while keeping a rather strict calligraphic flow in order to deliver a sturdy object that can be easily assembled and weather the elements.
