Partea mea preferată e când deschid cuptorul, pentru că trăiesc o emoție diferită de toate pe care le-am mai trăit. Nu știu niciodată cm mă va surprinde lutul.
Așa a apărut și vaza asta. Diferită de cm mi-am imaginat-o, dar asta o face unică.
Odată ce accesezi emoția asta, o cauți mereu. O cauți în fiecare piesă, în fiecare ardere.

My favorite part is opening the kiln, because every single time I feel something I’ve never felt before. I never know how the clay will surprise me.
That’s how this vase happened. Different from what I imagined, but that’s what makes it unique.
Once you access this feeling, you chase it forever. In every piece, in every firing.

Lately I’ve been playing with textures and forms and I’ve realized it’s a never-ending exploration.

The idea behind Pawtteria was turning paw prints into something that lasts in clay.
I rented this studio recently without noticing the paw prints already at the entrance.
Seeing them later felt like a sign to keep going 🐾

Ideea din spatele Pawtteria a fost sa transform amprentele de lăbute în ceva care rămâne pentru totdeauna în lut.
Am închiriat atelierul recent, fără să observ amprentele labutelor.
E coincindentă sau semn? 🐾

Ianuarie m-a găsit deja lucrând la prima mea colecție, care a fost și prima comandă pentru o cafenea.
Totul s-a mișcat atât de repede încât nici nu am stat prea mult să mă gândesc.
M-am lăsat dusă de val și a ieșit asta.

By January I was already working on my first collection, which was also my first order for a café.
Everything moved so fast that I didn’t spend much time thinking about it.
I went with the flow and this is what came out of it.
