Can you tell we like turquoise and aqua ceramics. 😂

Here’s a lovely (and very heavy!) earthenware/ceramic rectangular and deep planter intended for floating flowers or bonsai.

The exterior is matte brown clay and the interior is a glossy glaze in a gorgeous turquoise/aqua color. Very retro yet modern and contemporary for today's decor.
Maker's mark of “OIE” (?) and symbols appear to be Japanese (?) in a etched in a square box on the back. Still verifying origin on this one too. 🕵️‍♀️

Such a beautiful piece! A fine example of mid-century studio pottery believed to be from Japan. (we’re still working on verifying origin).

The raised pedestal planter is wide and shallow with an unglazed natural/speckled brown clay exterior and a fun speckled aqua and brown satin gloss glaze interior. Simple yet elegant.

A beautiful collectible set of two (2) matching rectangular ceramic tray planters from the 1940s Gladding McBean/ Franciscanware collection.

The ivory and turquoise colors were sold under the Catalina Pottery label with the shape refreshed from the Capistrano Ware series. #142 circa 1936-1942.

These heavy ceramic trays have a brilliant shiny glaze and could be used for so many things. Their intended use is as a floating flower vessel or for bonsai but it would be a lovely fruit tray also.

A pretty snack bowl from Culver Ltd, the iconic producer of gilded tabletop ware during the mid century period. The small bowl would be ideal for dips, nuts, olives or candies. Features a clear bowl with an upper band of 22K Gold over textured glass. The pattern name is "Florentine" and features various fruits. Signed "©Culver Ltd" in script which dates the piece to 1970-1980.

This beautiful and whimsical garden bouquet cocktail/appetizer pick set is sure to the be the talk of the party. The basket is a casting in metal with brass overlay (very heavy for its size) with a wicker-like texture and carrying handle. It holds 10 floral/garden inspired picks inside the basket. We describe the picks as: (2) Sunflower, (2) Tulip, (2) Corn Flower(?), (4) Long Curled Leaf. Due to the set's weight, it could also be used as a desktop paperweight. Or simply showcase on a sideboard or shelf amongst your houseplants. Manufacturer's mark ©TAN1964 on bottom. 11 pieces total.

Love this tray! A very fun and retro-inspired vintage Japanese beige bamboo wooden rod swirled serving tray. The blonde wooden sticks are formed into two curves–almost like race track-like curve–at either end of tray acting as handles for the flat surface. Wooden rods are attached with tiny metal tack nails.

Would be ideal for tea service or to use outdoors on the patio for serving up summertime Tiki cocktails and snacks.

A beautiful set of 1960's Contempo Teak wood modern serving tray set made in Japan. Set includes three (3) varying size trays made with Contempo's trademark "alcohol-proof" teak wood base edged in black paint. Beautiful set for servings drinks and appetizers as a coordinated set.

You want planters, we’ve got planters…and LOTS of them!
🌱🌸🌿🌷
New to the shop are some gorgeous vintage ceramic and earthenware planters for all your spring décor and flower arranging needs. Here’s just a glimpse of the selection featuring our Blush Collection. These low planters are used for floating flower heads or making shallow arrangements. Most pieces made during the 1930-1940s. They’ve been immaculately kept since then and are from the original owner’s estate. Many of planters could be used as trinket & key trays or fruit dishes. Or simply display them on a console table as the beautiful art pieces they are.
Last slide is a set of vintage Asian Tea Cups (Korean we think, ca. 1950-1955). Colors are bright and beautiful and would coordinate perfectly with any of the planters in the Blush Collection.
