A new cycle is beginning, and with founder .gs on maternity leave, Gecko will be taking a brief pause.

We’ll continue to fulfill orders placed by February 1.
Then, we’ll be closing our online shop until April 1.

Orders placed by Feb 1 will get 15% off applied automatically at checkout.

While we’re away, you can still shop our products at our partner studios, in Estoril and in Lisbon.

🦎💚 Precious memories from Gecko’s fourth birthday celebration.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday, and to everyone who had been a part of Gecko’s journey over these four years. The love and support of our community, clients, collaborators, and friends has provided us with fertile soil to grow from a small pandemic project to a local leader in sustainable yoga equipment. Immensely grateful to you all!

Things change. We experience it regularly in our offline lives, and in our virtual feeds. Trends, algorithms, platforms, priorities — all quick to arrive, and even quicker to go.

But yoga connects us to that which is unchanging. To what is timeless. To what remains when the dust settles.

And, as it has been since the very beginning, our mission at Gecko is to support you in creating that connection. To help you not only practice yoga, but to embody it.

And while we may be a little more silent here on the socials than we used to be, know that we are still here. Still honoring our mission. Still creating sustainable yoga mats made with love, and sharing that love as far and wide as we can.

Reflecting on another expansive year for Gecko 🪞

As a yogic brand, we choose to not only measure our success in sales metrics, but also by the positive impact generated from our work. Yes, our KPIs include number of yoga mats sold, but they also include number of new people introduced to yoga, funds raised for causes we believe in, and growth of community and connection.

From demystifying yoga through corporate yoga events, to continuing our partnership with and developing a new one with , to the innumerable yoga classes where our mats were used as support, 2024 was one of our biggest years yet! ✨

This is our practice. And our intention for 2025… keep practicing! 🦎
