SEE WHAT I SEE is an ongoing visual diary
featuring invited artists from Kintu Studio.

Through four images and a personal text,
each artist shares their practice,
their space and their way of seeing.

"One day is never the same for me. My only constant is
lunch at my shared studio; studio aberta between 1-2 which I try and attend when I can.
My favourite or most satisfying days are when I screen
print, usually before lunch in a separate space. I don’t
have the equipment so I usually rent it either in Trama, Arco or F**A.
Then I spend the afternoon doing client work at my desk in Aberta."

"In my studio, the day always begins with a small ritual: I arrive, take a selfie, light some
incense, and put on music. It’s a way of creating the right atmosphere to organize my day. I
sit down with my planner and write out what I need to do. I really enjoy that pause before
starting — it helps me get into the flow and prioritize my tasks.
No two days are exactly the same. Some days I focus more on product work, others I
dedicate to creating content for social media, and there are quieter days when I simply paint
or draw. I adapt depending on my needs and inspiration, especially when I have projects
with other clients and deadlines.
I always bring my lunch and eat in my green armchair, a place where I feel very inspired. It’s
one of my favorite moments of the day. I have it with my barley coffee, and sometimes I take
the opportunity to read a bit or go for a short walk.
I usually stay in the studio until the end of the day and try to always leave everything tidy. I love my studio

"Usually, I like to sleep in a bit. I’m more of a night owl and can’t really be bothered to wake up early. I’ve tried to become more productive in the mornings, but with little success. I usually go to the gym before finally getting to the studio around 12:00–13:00.
Depending on my tasks in the studio, I adjust my daily schedule accordingly, but I try to finish work between 18:00–19:00 so I still have time for my social life and my partner. Of course, during more intense periods, I’m unfortunately unable to keep those hours, but on average I manage quite well.
It takes a lot of planning, which I didn’t realize was such a big part of the artist-entrepreneur lifestyle. Production takes up most of my time, followed by cleaning and glazing. I still need to improve my content creation and management skills. Running a small business is a lot of work — especially when I can be difficult to manage myself.
Still, it seems to be working. My brand keeps evolving, and that makes me excited about the future."

"My days move between designing, creating content, managing the brand and all the small things behind it, but by far my favorite ones are the days I spend in the studio, playing around with shapes, colors and textures, building pieces by hand, usually with a good playlist or a podcast in the background. In the afternoon, the sun hits my table and everything starts to shine. "
