It’s been an exciting & eventful weekend with the shop opening, orders coming in, packaging & organising, time for a break now. My favourite meditation seat is under the yellow pompom tree, aka Golden Wattle Acacia tree. Strange fact: apparently you can make chewing gum & glue from the sap of this cheerful tree!

Here you can really see the texture for the up-cycled fabric. The ragged edges give it charm and make each piece unique. This is a cotton/linen weave mix, which hangs oh-so-nicely! The fabric strands are offcuts from the Portuguese textiles industry. Waste-not-want-not!
