هذه المبادرة النسائية أُطلقت عام 2020 بدعم من Pro Terra Sancta، لتوفير الدعم للنساء الفلسطينيات خلال جائحة كورونا. بدأت بصناعة الكمامات المجانية، ثم تطوّرت لتشمل تصاميم منزلية معاصرة. واليوم، تقدم مجموعة تنورات أنيقة للصغار والكبار، مستوحاة من النسيج البدوي التقليدي، ولكن بروح عصرية.

🌿 اليوم، تُعدّ هذه النساء المعيلات الأساسيات لعائلاتهن، ومبادرتهن تجسيدٌ لصمود المرأة الفلسطينية وإبداعها.

This women-led initiative began in 2020, supported by Pro Terra Sancta, to help Palestinian women during the pandemic. What started with free mask-making has evolved into modern home items—and now, stylish skirts for little girls and adults, inspired by traditional Bedouin fabric with a fresh, contemporary twist.

The Betwomen’s “Repower to Grow” project enhances the resilience of vulnerable women in Bethlehem by sewing and embroidery training on the job. Through this program, a new production line inspired by Bethlehemite Palestinian architecture was being produced.
The displayed products are the results of the Betwomen’s effort to reconstruct and defend both historical and architectonic heritage, as a collective drive to safeguard Palestinian cultural memory.

The Betwomen expanded their line by offering more customizable products and an innovative approach to their production.

"Our vision is to offer the customers products that are more original to the core. Therefore we decided to defend our cultural and historical identity by finding inspiration in Palestinian Architecture: from the old floor tiles of the archaic Bethlehem houses to the mosaics of the Nativity Church."

Thanks to the support of the Representative Office of the Federal Republic of Germany, Damj station is hosting the “Betwomen Repower to Grow” project which enhances the resilience of vulnerable women in Bethlehem by sewing and embroidery training on the job, with the goal of developing a new production line inspired by Bethlehemite Palestinian architecture as seen in home tiles and the mosaic tiles located in the Nativity church.

بفضل دعم من الممثلة الألمانية في رام الله ، استضافت محطة دمج مشروع "Betwomen Repower to Grow" الذي يعزز صمود النساء في بيت لحم من خلال التدريب على الخياطة والتطريز، بهدف تطوير خط إنتاج جديد مستوحى من العمارة الفلسطينية في بيت لحم كبلاط المنازل القديمة و الفسيفساء الموجود في كنيسة المهد.
