From the first moment you enter, you feel calm, creativity and positive energy. The bookstore café has a very warm interior with books everywhere, stylish design and a peaceful atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. The outdoor seating area behind the café is especially beautiful and relaxing.
The cakes were excellent, fresh and full of flavor. The cocoa was very good and the red wine was also enjoyable. A perfect place to sit down, read, think, relax or have conversations with friends. Many young people, students and adults create a very interesting international atmosphere around the café.
The sister with the red hair who served me was extremely friendly and professional. She always smiled and created a welcoming atmosphere during the whole visit. Even when I jokingly asked if I might hesitate her with my questions, she stayed kind and positive. Small moments like this create real hospitality.
Yesterday the LGBTQ demonstration was also taking place nearby and it created a very lively atmosphere around the square and church area. Right next to the café there is also a beautiful church, and while I was there a choir singer was performing inside, which gave the entire area a very emotional and peaceful feeling. Kraków truly has special places where culture, music, spirituality and people meet together.
This café-bookstore is one of the most interesting places around Rynek Podgórski. Excellent atmosphere, quality products, beautiful surroundings and very friendly service. Definitely a place I can recommend to anyone visiting Kraków who enjoys books, cafés, culture and peaceful moments.
