Cork-rubber tape is a ready-made anti-slip covering for rollers in printing, laminating, cutting and rewinding machines.

Once applied to the drum, it increases the coefficient of friction and reduces slippage of the material web, making the feeding of film, paper or textiles more stable and repeatable.

The working layer made from a blend of rubber and cork granules is flexible, has a hardness of approx. 55° Shore A and performs well at elevated temperatures, which makes it suitable for continuous operation.

It is a solution for places where ordinary rubber no longer provides sufficient grip, and replacing the entire conveyor tape would be unnecessarily expensive.

What should you look for when choosing summer sandals?
Sole and footbed – look for models with a flexible, cushioning footbed (for example made of natural cork or foam that moulds to the foot), rather than a completely flat “board”.

Foot support – a gently shaped footbed (with support for the arch and heel) holds the foot better than completely flat flip-flops and reduces the risk of knee or back pain.

Material against the skin – natural materials are best: leather, cork, breathable fabrics that do not rub; avoid stiff, sharp straps made of cheap plastic.

Stability – a strap that holds the foot well (for example like in “comfort” sandals) will be safer for the city, travelling or driving than loose flip-flops.

At first glance, it looks like an ordinary strip of cork, but in railway modelling it makes a huge difference.
The profiled modelling cork cut at a 45° angle has been designed especially for H0 scale to faithfully recreate the railway embankment under the tracks and make it easier to add ballast later on.

The ready-made profile means less cutting and sanding by hand – you simply glue it down, lay the tracks and cover it with ballast, and the shape of the embankment “forms itself”.
Cork also works as a natural acoustic insulation layer, so the models run more quietly and the layout looks and sounds more realistic.

How does cork help with large glass?
Cork spacers between panes
During storage and transport, small cork spacers are placed on the corners and at several points on the surface of the glass. They maintain a constant distance, absorb shocks and prevent point pressure that could cause cracks.

Cork where the glass meets the structure
Cork strips or pads placed under the pane (on a frame, metal profile or wood) mean the glass is not resting directly on a hard surface. Cork evens out minor unevenness, dampens vibrations and relieves the most delicate edges.

Protection for corners and edges
The corners of the glass can be protected with thicker cork blocks/spacers during installation or moving. These are exactly the parts most likely to be damaged in an impact.
