Keep the battery in a ventilated place.
Never charge the battery over 10 Amp.

Never Use a 200 Amp Battery with a 1.2VA to 1.5VA UPS.
People often make common mistakes while selecting UPS and batteries.
They select a low power UPS with a high Amp battery.
The result is hopeless, UPS neither gives the desirable output nor backup time.
Also the UPS does not have the capability of charging such huge batteries.
Always select 100 to 150 Amp range battery for 1.2 to 1.5VA UPS for maximum output and backup.
For more backup time and output either select a 2.4VA 24 volt UPS having 2 batteries of 125 Amp or select Inverter with 200 Amp Battery.

How to make your Acid Battery effective for Years.
Used Branded UPS for long Battery Life like Cyber Power, Vertex, Inverox.
Use Quality Battery Brands Like AGS or Phoenix.
Use Best quality copper wire as connecting cable between UPS and Battery.
Keep the UPS Charging ratio 1/10th of the Total Amp. i.e. 160 Amp Battery should be charged at maximum 16 Amp.
Ideal charging ratio is 10 Amp Standard.
Keep the Acid Level of Battery at Maximum.
Used Acid should have at least 1250 gravity if not more.
Batteries should be placed at a ventilated place.
In case of no load shedding for a week turn of the UPS
