In order to promote tourism in Pakistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved declaring three tourists spots of Ghanool (Mansehra), Mankyal (Swat) and Madaklasht (Lower Chitral) as integrated tourism zones (ITZs).

In this regard, the first meeting of Provincial Tourism Strategy Board, chaired by the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan was held where approval was given and for the final approval, the matter would be presented before the provincial cabinet.

Provincial Cabinet members Taimur Saleem Jhagra, Ishtiaq Urmar, Chief Secretary Shehzad Bangash, Additional Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah administrative secretaries and others attended the meeting.

The forum was informed that Ghanol ITZ would consist of an area of 489 Kanal whereas Mankyal and Madaklasht would consist of 450 Kanal and 500 Kanals of land, respectively.

A Mountaineering Legend.
Little Karim a very famous Pakistani low porter for the 1st time went on an expedition as a low porter to broad peak (8048m) in 1980tees.when the group guide asked is there any one who can carry food to the climbers at camp4?Mr Karim ready for camp4 with food without proper equipments. Everyone at BC makes Joke of karim ,can you? by looking at him as he was small,infact there was no body get ready to go up.any how Karim worked surprisely as a high altitude porter and reached camp4 all the way from Basecamp within a recorded 16 hours.when the climbers reached back to camp4 after successful summit they found food at the camp ,happened maricle and walkie talkie to Basecamp that they had food here the BC manager replied Mr Karim a little man Depot there.after that he papular across Mountaineering world.Mr Karim also a world record to carried a paraglide of 25 kg upTo the Summit of Gashabrum 2.later on many famous Mountaineers came to Pakistan to climb karakoran with legend karim.3 International documentary film has documented on his life Name as Mr Karim,Little Karim and Apo Karim and released in Cinemas. He represent Pakistan across the world either in Mountaineering or welfare.throughout his Mountaineering careers he never ever used any supplementry oxygen,even he don't know how to use it💪

after his successful Mountaineering careers Karim started welfare projects across the remote valleys of Gilgit Baltitan and started to build Schools and health centers.especially karim worked for Girls education,now a days hundred of girls educated and thousand are studying in different colleges and Universities.the whole Europe recognized karim as a Mountaineering legend and Guru and called him many time to europe and awarded awards and Donated for his charity work. unfortunatly GOVT of Pakistan never ever awarded him or recognized him at national level, and since two years karim health is not wealth he is living in his home town Hushe in his simple house of one kitchen and one room.we Salute you for your dedication to Pakistan Mountaineering and welfare projects.

Pakistan will launch its first ecotourism village in the mountains of Kaghan Valley in March, says Malik Amin Aslam.

Ecotourism involves responsible travel and sustainable transport, conserving the environment, and improving the wellbeing of locals in an area. Its purpose is both to educate the traveler and to provide funds for ecological conservation and to benefit the economic development and political empowerment of local communities.

Pakistan’s first ecotourism village in the northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province will abide by a zero-waste policy, the advisor said.

“The ecotourism project is a unique and practical way which would reduce the environmental footprint of the tourism industry in Pakistan,” Aslam said this week. “It will educate not only the hospitality sector but also engage the local community for their livelihood uplifting.”
