Snippets from this past year. 🤍

1. Started on my bed while pumping, and somehow grew into a small office space dedicated to TPE, with stock overflowing from shelves into cartons hidden under my table to maintain the aesthetics.
Seeing my son “help” me sort products while setting this space up felt like one of those full circle moments I will never forget.

2. The phase where everything felt incredibly isolating. Planning life around pump sessions, with very little knowledge and a lot of confusion.
Somewhere in the middle of that, TPE came to life. Everyone told me the name was too long and made no sense, but at the time, it was exactly that. My Postpartum Edit. ❤️‍🩹

3. My first ever stock shipment. Spent every last penny I had hoping this would somehow work out.
Watching us sell out in less than two months was one of the proudest and most surreal moments for me. 🥹

4. One of the moments that reminded me this page was becoming so much more than just orders and products.
She sent me chocolates and the sweetest handwritten note. The note still sits on my table today, and somehow, I still could not bring myself to throw the chocolate box away either. 🥺

5. Bought myself the newest iPhone because apparently “I needed it for work.”
My husband still disagrees. The reels, however, do not. 🌚

6. Trying my best to make Mother’s Day feel a little extra special this year, with custom illustrated cards and sticker sheets made with so much love, sent out with every order.

7. Swipe to see what these tiny Mother’s Day additions meant to the mothers receiving them. 😍

8. Tiny moments behind the scenes that still feel unreal to me sometimes.

Thank you, all of you, for making every bit of this possible. 🫶

April is C-section Awareness Month.

Whether planned, unexpected, or the only option in that moment, a C-section is a form of birth that asks a lot of you.

It can come with decisions made in seconds,
or ones you spent weeks preparing for.

It carries its own experience,
its own kind of strength,
and a recovery that is often misunderstood.

To every mother who has a scar she is still learning to accept,
Who moved slowly when the world expected her to bounce back,
Who showed up for her baby while still healing herself.
And it deserves to be spoken about with clarity,
understanding, and respect.

There is no one way to do this.
There is no one story that matters more.

Only different journeys,
all worth recognizing. 🫶🏼

When I first started pumping, I had no idea fl**ge sizing even mattered.

For the first few weeks, I used the standard size that came with my pump and assumed the discomfort and inefficiency were just part of the process. Looking back, I wish someone had told me how important proper sizing actually is.

There is a lot of noise online around fl**ge sizing. Sometimes it is barely discussed, and other times the advice is very textbook. In reality, finding the right size is much more individualized, especially for mothers who are exclusively pumping.

I worked with my lactation consultant, Fakeha from who is an IBCLC in training with 1000+ clinical hours and trained in fl**ge fitting, to put together this guide. She is based in Islamabad and also offers virtual consultations if you need support. If you are struggling with fl**ge sizing, I highly recommend consulting a qualified lactation professional.

I am not a trained professional. I am simply someone who went through this myself and wants to make reliable information more accessible.

P.S. This is actually where the idea for The Postpartum Edit began for me. I just wish someone had told me sooner.

Can we say it out loud?

We are scared.
Not always for ourselves.
But for them.

For the tiny humans we carried.
The babies we are growing.
The toddlers sleeping beside us.

Wars.
Uncertainty.
So much fear. So much noise.
Videos telling us the end is near.

And we sit there holding our children thinking…
They have their whole lives ahead of them.

What kind of a world are we raising them into?
How do we protect their innocence?
How do we raise kind, righteous, strong children in a world that feels so unfair?

If you have been feeling this too, you are not overthinking.
You are a mother who loves deeply.

There is this heaviness lately.
A quiet feeling that something is shifting.
And it is okay to admit that it feels overwhelming.

We cannot control everything happening in the world.
But we can control the home we build.
The values we teach.
The safety they feel in our arms.

And maybe that is where it begins.

Especially in this month of Ramadan,
when we are reminded that even in uncertain times,
there is prayer, there is patience, there is protection.

We hold them tighter.
We make dua a little longer.
And we trust that the One who entrusted them to us
is also watching over them. ❤️‍🩹

I don’t just send random PRs.
I study, and that’s something I take full pride in.

Her love for vines and florals.
The quiet strength in the way she speaks about becoming a mother.

Before starting the custom piece, I reached out to ask what she was comfortable sharing and what she wasn’t. And moved accordingly.

Because this was never about sending a package for reach.
It was about respecting her story. Her boundaries. Her season.

What started as twins… (my bad 😅)
became three tiny miracles. 🌸

Redesigned. Reimagined. Recreated. Over weeks of thought.

So yes: chaotic.
A little stressful.
But completely worth it. 🤍

So grateful to my incredible illustrator for bringing every version to life with so much patience.

, thank you for letting The Postpartum Edit be part of your story. 🤍

Raw images.
Just like raw postpartum.

No filters. No softening. No pretending it is all glowing skin and perfect moments.

I am a two time c section mama, so I did not personally use all of these. But I keep restocking them over and over because you do. And that tells me everything.

These are the postpartum recovery essentials mothers consistently reach for in those first tender weeks.

The one I personally swear by?
An abdominal binder. Because when your organs feel like they are hanging by a thread, that support feels like everything.

Healing is not aesthetic. It is real. And it deserves space here.

*Prices may vary slightly depending on ongoing sales or supplier cost changes.

Save this for later or send it to a mama who needs it 🤍
