I don't know if creatives ever get over the sense of apprehension before releasing their labour of love to the world? Maybe over time it just gets overshadows by emboldened confidence and repertoire of good reception.
Despite the strength of your better experience or the length of your professional career, I think, that tiny tingly feeling never goes away: that feeling of releasing a precious idea out of its shell into the atmosphere, a childs first breath out of the embryo and the expectations in that nascent moment, a young one away from home for the first time in the unrelenting clutches of the world? How will the universe treat this little form you have cradled close to your heart. How many times have you re wrapped your bundle of design and stowed it away? Maybe you will let it go after a month, when its 'more' ready. Maybe it'll keep getting fine tuned for the better part of a year?
A wise man once said, "Finished not perfect," and perhaps that is all Art will ever be, an end to a process.
If you've made it past my onslaught of philosophy, (haha) here is a sneek peak of something new in the works. IA releasing next month.
Can you guess the purpose and target audience? Clues in the hashtags.
