The Bachelor of Architecture students ( Batch 2017-18) at the Department of Architecture and Planning, NED University of Engineering and Technology, conducted an exercise of research, documentation, and analysis performed in a semester-long Comprehensive Design Studio (CED) of the 9th semester. The study was undertaken by a group of thirty-seven students under the supervision of Dr. Noman Ahmed, Dr. Suneela Ahmed, and Ms. Sarah Ather Khan that aimed to analyze effects on the physical built environment, land use, governance, allied infrastructure, socio-economics, politics, overall culture, and ecology, focusing around inclusive development based on sustainable tourism.
The students offered sustainable urban design proposals for the island of Manora and the adjoining areas of Salehabad.
