یہ کامیابی ایک طرف خوشی اور جشن 🥂 کا موقع ہے، تو دوسری طرف اُس ذمہ داری کی یاد دہانی بھی کہ ہمیں ڈیٹا سائنس اور مشین لرننگ کو دیانت، شفافیت، اور مثبت اثرات کے ساتھ آگے بڑھانا ہے۔ ہمارا یہ کام اب IEEE کے مستقل ریکارڈ کا حصہ بن چکا ہے — امید ہے کہ یہ دوسروں کے لیے رہنمائی، چیلنج، اور تحریک کا ذریعہ بنے گا۔ 📚⚙️

The National Book Foundation (NBF) and Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA) signed two important Letters of Understanding (LoUs) at the NBF Conference Room Islamabad on 25 May 2026 to promote children’s literature and strengthen Pakistan’s book publishing ecosystem.

Ms. Nazia Rehman, Incharge Publications NBF, and Ms. Arooj Khalid, Senior Program Manager ITA, signed the agreements in the presence of Murad Ali Mohmand, Director HQ NBF, and Fareeha from ITA.

The collaboration focuses on:
• Establishment of a National Children’s Publishing Ecosystem
• Development of quality standards for children’s literature
• Writers’ and Illustrators’ Workshops
• Co-publishing of high-quality children’s books
• Training, certification, and editorial review mechanisms
• Promotion of digital and multilingual children’s literature

This partnership marks an important step towards promoting reading culture, literary development, and quality educational content for children in Pakistan.

Students from COTHM Islamabad visited the National Book Foundation Pakistan and were warmly welcomed by Dr. Khan Farhan Rafat, Secretary NBF, and Murad Ali Mohmand, Director HQ.

A detailed presentation was delivered on the aims, objectives, and role of NBF in promoting book culture and reading habits across Pakistan. Dr. Khan Farhan Rafat also shared his valuable experiences and highlighted the importance of books in education and personal growth.

The students later visited the Book Museum, Indonesian Corner, NBF Bookshop, and Wall of Honour.

The National Book Foundation warmly welcomed Muhammad Sheeraz Dasti, HOD English Department, International Islamic University Islamabad, along with students of the English Department during their educational visit to NBF Headquarters Islamabad.

Dr. Khan Farhan Rafat, Secretary NBF, and Murad Ali Mohmand, Director HQ, received the delegation and shared valuable insights regarding the role of NBF in promoting book culture, reading habits, and literary awareness in Pakistan.

A comprehensive presentation was delivered at Ahmed Faraz Auditorium on NBF’s aims, objectives, mission, vision, and organizational mandate. Students were also given an extensive tour of the Book Museum, NBF Bookshop, Indonesian Corner, and Wall of Honour.

The visit proved to be highly informative and inspiring for the students, encouraging greater engagement with books, literature, and intellectual development.
