It’s not pasteurized and therefore still full of healthy enzymes. Juliet’s Honey Products was started in the small sari-sari store of Aleng Juliet that caters mostly Mangyans, the indigenous tribe of Oriental Mindoro. Once a week, the Mangyans go down from mountains to sell fruits and vegetables they produced in order to buy their necessities. Once in a while, they also sell honey from wild bees.
Aleng Juliet knowing that honey has a lot of nutrients, always bought as vitamins for her children and later on started selling it too in her sari-sari store. Juliet’s Honey Products was established in the year 2015. Since then, Juliet’s Honey Products consistently helping our Mangyan brothers to promote the Mindoro’s raw and pure honey from wild bees. As the pilot product, Juliet’s Pure Honey is fresh from the comb of wild bees, extracted and bottled in Oriental Mindoro, Philippines. Aleng Juliet also installed a hands-on approach and stay in touch from extracting to bottling of pure honey to fulfill superior quality of product. Currently, the Juliet’s Pure Honey is one of the carrying products of Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Region 4B MiMaRoPa to showcase the local products of Oriental Mindoro. It has joined several bazaars in nearby provinces and in Metro Manila.
