I have 4 titles of Liane Moriarty books on my TBR this month, which I intend to finish reading. Let’s see how it goes. I just randomly picked 'Apples Never Fall' from the pile, flipped a few pages, and decided to go with the audiobook instead so I could finish folding clothes from my laundry while reading/hearing.
I must admit that with the load of work and distractions I have now, reading a physical book is a luxury for me, and I basically need to schedule a day to make reading happen. Likewise, I'm thankful that there are audiobooks available, though. It helps me get back into my reading game again without compromising my daily work schedule.
After 8 chapters in, I switched to by and finished 12 chapters. I took a quick coffee break until I found a copy of , which I remember reading and watching about ten years ago. I flipped a couple of pages, read for a bit, and recalled how much this book (and movie) made me cry buckets back then.
After a few hours of leafing through it, I ended up finishing re-reading it (and crying for a bit) again. I called it a day by plugging in my earphones and resumed reading/hearing 'Apples Never Fall' until I dozed off to sleep.
