Meanwhile, a heat index of 44.0°C was recorded in Camiling, Tarlac, according to the state weather bureau's 5-day computed data.

PAGASA’S heat danger evaluation indicates that a heat index of 33°C to 41°C falls under the "Extreme Caution" category. Furthermore, they warn Filipinos that continuous physical activity may lead to heat-related injuries.

Heat Index differs from air temperature as it accounts for the air's humidity to determine the actual temperature the body feels.
