My current passion is bags of all kinds. I like to choose fabrics that I love - quirky and cute, occasionally retro, usually bright and colourful. I cannot commit to one style as I love so many - rockabilly, retro, shabby, funky - just all sorts. Therefore, I just make what I like and hope someone out there likes it too! This is Sadie. A saddlebag sewing pattern from Leanne

Currently on sale for under a fiver!

Leanne's patterns always come together beautifully. I made this in a faux tooled leather. It's quite spacious with an inner zip pocket, slip pocket and card slots.
The strap is adjustable.
Id say its an easy intermediate. Great for learning to sew the curved gussets and trying out a slightly thicker fabric.

Lots of hard work put in produced excellent work by brand new bagmakers. I'm really hoping I see them again.

This is a tester bag I made earlier this month. It's a free pattern from Leanne at and it's a pretty quick sew. I made mine in this soft velour stuff I got from the man on the market, and some pale metallic faux leather in a sort of sagey colour. I did make the straps slightly longer (20") and shortened the top part by half an inch. It makes a really cute bag.
If anyone would like to purchase this one it's £25 plus postage
