Tibok was featured in the October-November issue of German literary magazine Bücher Magazin ().

I was merely a guest at a table intended to highlight Ilocano language, culture, and heritage, so I greatly appreciate that they gave me room to talk about my experience as a Bicolano-Manileño q***r book distributor whenever my experience was relevant.

The Ilocos region is home to celebrated artists and writers. I value the opportunity I was given to also learn from everyone that was present. I look forward to connecting with more q***r creatives and allies from different regions so that we may deepen our identities as a q***r community! 🌈

🏳️‍🌈 PRIDE 2025 RECAP 🏳️‍🌈

June was a crazy month!
⭐ Partnered with and to bring our curation of Philippine LGBT+ books to Baguio City
⭐ Attended our second Bullalayaw celebration at
⭐ Invited by RCBC to share their space and lend and sell our books to their members
⭐ Attended our 2nd QC Pride March

Thank you to all the readers and organisations that trust us to bring conversations around q***r lit to their spaces. We've got a lot planned for the next half of the year, and we're excited to share it with you all 😊

PRIDE is here! 🏳️‍🌈🎉

While LGBT+ organizations and individuals fight the good fight in order to create equal and equitable opportunities and spaces for the q***r community through legislation, Tibok Book Store has always been guided by this principle: change happens when people outside the LGBT+ community have a deeper understanding of the q***r experience and actively participate in the movement. We do that through popularization of LGBT+ literature.

We all have our place in contributing to the movement 💗

We hope that in the years to come, we see more and more allies join us in celebrating and fighting for Pride!

What a treat it is to visit and revisit Sigrid Marianne Gayangos's book. It's works like this that re-enforce the bookstore's value to highlight and discover q***r provincial authors' writing. The short stories are solidly tied together around the themes of maritime folklore illustrated against the religion, culture, and language of Zamboanga.

As someone who grew up near the sea in southern Luzon, the short stories feel both familiar and foreign.

We're bringing you 's newest book, Lugar Lang: Dispatch From Davao, straight her her book launch! Our copies are SIGNED 🤩

During the panel discussion of the book launch, Jhoanna had said that she hoped that even if this book did not necessarily center around q***rness as a topic, that her identity as a le***an woman still shine through her writing. That's exactly what I enjoyed about this book. Whether the essay be about gender and s*xuality, activism and politics, or culture and identity, Jhoanna's writing is grounded on her experiences as a le***an, feminist, mother, and educator.

The first LGBT holiday on our calendar is here: Aromantic Spectrum Awareness Week 💚🤍🖤

Aromantic Spectrum Awareness Week was first introduced in 2014. It is celebrated during the first full week of February after Valentine’s Day in order to create a space for the aromantic community to celebrate their own unique experiences following a highly romanticized event. Currently, the online international resources website of ASAW is managed by volunteers from Aromantic-Official, AUREA, and other members of the aromantic community. In the Philippines, we have organizations like Aromantic and As*xual Support PH () that help bring awareness and provide communities to people in the aroace spectrum and their allies. Check out their social media for resources and community events!

Do you like poetry? Do you like slice of life? ❇️🌱🍂

With Decade is Austere Rex Gamao's debut poetry collection. It follows the character Decade, the personification of time, as they try to be, try to do, try to love and feel.

I was enamored with this book and its characters when I first read it. I loved the comedic, almost sarcastic tone that Austere narrates the story with. I love that the book can be read literally — reading each poem like loose chapters of a book. I also like that rereading each poem unlocks new layers of depth to the characters and stories being introduced.

I highly recommend this collection to anyone interested in storytelling! This book is available for purchase in our website and in our upcoming pop up at Coffee Dojo, Quezon City 📚
