Hi everyone, we have finally listed the on-hand books after an inventory check. We do not have details of all the books yet but click on each photo below to see the list of books under that category. We will update this over the holiday weekend.

People with pending pre-orders are on priority list and can request to exchange their pre-orders for any on-hand book. The available bookish merch will also be posted this weekend. Any remaining stocks will be posted on the shop next week, Nov 4, for general sale. Until then, we have placed our Shopee on vacation mode to give people time to check out the list. We can provide prices and photos of the books upon request, just one by one.

The lists do NOT include the pre-ordered books. These are all on-hand and unreserved at the moment. To request a book, just place a comment on the photo or send a message and state which one you'd like so we can make the reservation until Nov 4. We'll also send messages to people on our pre-order list to update them on book options.

How the moving issues affect the shop

The shop is self-sustaining on its own, but now we have to look for other sources of income to cover the additional house/family expenses. This means that we have less time to paint books and do shop operations. I keep hoping this is temporary, and things are nearly settling down. Plans just haven’t gone accordingly, even though we are doing as much as we can on any given day.

All current books have been unpacked, and we have made a master list of 100 on-hand hardcover books. If any one has a pending order, your books are likely here but we can also send you the list if you want. We can quickly do exchanges or store credit for incoming September books. Refunds are on waitlist due to the above circumstances, but we’ll still get to you. We haven’t received any new shipments since we moved, so we will also check in with our old post office. On-hand paperbacks and book merch will also be listed.

Thank you for reading this and we do apologize for the inconvenience caused by these issues. We still hope for your understanding and just a little more consideration. We can’t reply to everyone ASAP but we’re getting to your orders one by one. Even though we are inactive here most of the time now, be assured that we are still working in the background to send as many orders and books as we can.

Hi everyone, putting an update here for the shop and our move. I should have posted this earlier but the mental/emotional load of the past months have been too much to carry and the days are just blurring by.

We have already explained our move beforehand, and we are still slowly settling in our new location. The necessities like utilities and living/work areas have been fixed, but there are still a lot of work to do to make the space fully functional.

In addition, we had another unplanned problem. Earlier this year, our elderly dad (80+) in the province had an emergency and feet injury. He prefers to live alone, but due to age, we all agreed he would move in with one sibling for them to start sharing expenses. But this sibling kept delaying the move and finally ceased communicating with us in April. In May, our dad had anxiety attack and had to move in with another of our family for his care. This was temporary as the only space was their work area. So in July, we had no choice but to move our dad to our old place instead. He is better now and also adjusting. We just finished transferring all his possessions/furniture late last August, but we haven’t fixed them or had the place repaired after we left. He also still has some outstanding expenses in the province that we have to settle.

We usually keep our personal matters separate from work, but the events of past months have had large effects on this small business. In summary, despite our preparations, moving is turning out more stressful and getting back to normal shop operations is taking longer than expected.

Dear bookstagram, we missed you and posting here. But we haven’t been idle. It even seems we have painted many more books since we’ve been gone.

Here are a few books that we didn’t have time to properly shoot before shipping out. We’ll be remaking some of these then have a shoot before we post them on the shops as on-hand.

NOTE: We are still focusing on current orders and will just post new items or stocks next month. 💙

Hi everyone, we are still alive. We apologize for vanishing here for the longest time. We do realize that we should have made general updates, but the past few months have been difficult to even just post. This is possibly the first photo shoot we have for Instagram after months.

The reason is that we have been planning to move to a new and bigger area for years now, and after a lot of delays, we finally did relocate. We started moving in Q2 but encountered so many unforeseen complications and expenses. The move took us several months, with new issues seemingly cropping up when we’re already here. Suffice it to say that rather than our to-do’s getting shorter, the list seems to be getting longer and longer. It’s actually ironic that Fractal Noise is our first post again, given that we can totally relate to the slow progress of the characters through fractal, never ending path. That dedication by Paolini resonated so much, but I forgot to take a photo before shipping this out.

But at least for the shop, this July we just finished the stock transfers and unboxing the last of our books from different storage areas. This is why we haven't been able to work and paint as many books as we intended (we did send a lot, but sadly not all). With this move being finished, we’ll just be focusing on pending orders this August. We have seen some of the comments but we haven’t had a chance to reply. We’ll be doing that now and contacting each person with pending orders one by one. New pre-orders will be paused until possibly September.

Again, we do apologize for the inactivity and the worries we have caused. After we contact people, we’ll find ways to make it up to you all even after we complete the orders/requests.

Hi Bookwyrms, hope you all had a good holiday!

We're making a pre-order album where all the new releases and timelines will be announced. Plus, news and shipment ETA will be updated once there are new details that we can gather from our couriers or other partners. This album will only be for 2024 pre-orders. Books of previous years will be updated separately, and new albums will be made for future years. We are already getting inquiries about 2025 releases, but unless the books are already likely to sell out, we won't be focusing on those until the 3rd quarter of 2024.

The information will be placed and edited on the post caption. If there are no edits, it means there are no news for the moment. This way, it will be easier for us to update rather than going to each person one by one, and buyers can also check every now and then for the status of books.

We'll be testing this system and improving it as we go on, but for now, this seems to be the easiest and fastest route for the pre-order updates. We will still be using Instagram for posts of actual books or other news, as that is where we started posting and then selling so many years ago. :)

- Iron Flame

Hi all, shops are on “vacation” from now until Easter morning. See previous post for other details.

Just an update on pending orders: We have been working on Fourth Wing and Iron Flame non-stop for a few months now, with other books in between. We had issues for this series and caused several delays.
- Iron Flame and the red Fourth Wing were released in November and shipments were delayed with our other holiday orders
- Shipments started arriving in Jan-Feb with several other series that we also had to paint. We also had Black Friday orders from overseas to pack and ship.
- We hired a printer to help us with the customizations, but this is the first time we tried this custom cover. 😅 In addition, the printer had to relocate in February, so we had to stop production while waiting for them to get re-settled.
- We had a Shopee glitch in March where orders were removed or duplicated. We’ve sorted most of these but will re-check all orders to be sure.
- We’ve finished several batches and shipped them this March along with some other books, like the stenciled OUABH UK.
- We’ve sent some photos of books to buyers so they can see the condition of their copies. We’re continuing to sort and pack, and will ship more books this April.

After this, we can move on to the other books on our list. We will pause pre-orders for Fourth Wing so we can do the next series on our 2024 line-up.

- The Stolen Heir duology
- Tales of the Celestial Kingdom (with Daughter of the Moon Goddess and Heart of the Sun Warrior)

Other books will be announced but ETA will be in late Q2 or in Q3, due to book publication dates or shipping timelines.

Hi everyone, PH is on national holiday starting today and most businesses are on break until Easter Sunday. To observe the Lenten holiday, our shops will be put on “vacation” starting 6pm, today,Thursday to 6am Sunday.

While we won’t have new orders, we’re still focusing on the pending ones (mostly Fourth Wing and OUABH series) that have been taking us much longer than expected. We shipped some books already and are packing the rest. More on this in another post later. If you have pending orders, kindly check as we might have sent you messages. If not, you’re likely on the next batch of people. We get 50-60 messages a day, usually for different books or queries, so kindly bear with us. 😅

We’ll also take the time to update the shop listings. We’ve been stenciling/shipping books non-stop, but we have a few extra merch from previous boxes that we haven’t had time to post. These are ready-to-ship items for April, one is little Absolem’s mushroom that was included in our Hidden Worlds box with Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Fairies. This mushroom jar will have a pink version with an Alice design inside.

Hi bookworms, hope you’re having a good week! We’ve been painting non-stop for several days so we haven’t had much time to shoot. This was supposedly our post for last week’s International Women’s Day, although admittedly this quote applies to everyone. It actually reminds us of Blu in the animated movie “Rio”, when he was trying to learn about flight. That bird loved his cage and he knew how to open it, but he didn’t know how to fly. 😅

We have one on-hand Circe and the rest are reserved (if you ordered this, we sent you a message!). Swipe to see the stenciled edges. The matching Achilles is only reserved on pre-order basis. We sell out of it so quickly and it will be easier if we paint them in batches.

SJM has such beautiful quotes in each of her books, it’s amazing they are all related and yet different. 💛

UK HOFAS editions released the exclusive bonus chapters in little booklets from different stores. We only got this one with Bryce and Danika, but there are four in total with different symbols. Did you get any of these? The book is a regular edition and comes with the booklet and pin. We only have one set and unlikely to get more.

UK Waterstones editions with light gold edges have been shipped! If you ordered and didn’t get one, send us a message as it’s likely in the next batch. US exclusives are in transit and likely to get here by April-May, subject to cargo or customs delays.
