When the tropics come alive. A vibrant celebration of island color and texture, layered with lush forest greens, palms, bamboo poles, ferns, anthuriums, heliconias, gingers, vandas, bottlebrush blooms, and bursts of vivid florals. Inspired by the richness of Bohol’s landscape, this corporate event transformed BE Grand Resort’s beachfront garden venue into a tropical escape filled with warmth, energy, and unmistakable island spirit. Yesterday unfolded like a love letter to youth, friendship, and family beneath a glowing tropical sunset. As golden light filtered through the palms and strands of festoon lights began to twinkle overhead, guests gathered in sandals, strappies and flip-flops, some barefoot, on the sand for an intimate sunset soirée. Dressed in breezy whites and soft neutrals, they mingled around cocktail tables, shared stories, squatted on low coachela tables and cushions, posed for photos, played bingo and toasted to the birthday girl’s milestone eighteenth year. The beach setting felt effortlessly magical, with the cool sea breeze, lanterns, chilled fresh coconuts stamped with her name, torches and candlelight creating an atmosphere that was both relaxed and deeply celebratory.

As dusk settled, the celebration transitioned into an elegant marquee dinner adorned with lush floral arrangements in vibrant shades of fuchsia, orchid pink, lavender, silver and ivory, on chic serpentine tables. Every detail reflected joy and abundance, from the colorful all-fresh floral leis and bloom installations to the thoughtfully styled tablescapes. As night fell, guests made their way to a glass pavilion transformed into a sleek party venue, where drinks overflowed endlessly and one of Cebu’s hottest young DJs kept the energy soaring past midnight. Surrounded by the people who have loved and guided her through eighteen beautiful chapters, the birthday girl’s celebration became more than a birthday party. It was a heartfelt gathering of family and friends, a night filled with laughter, affection, gratitude, and the promise of wonderful adventures yet to come. ✨🌺🌴💜

Trishka and Mark. Instead of tight, rounded arrangements, the wedding florals grow outward and upward with movement, asymmetry, and negative space. The design uses layered tropical foliage, wild grasses, sprawling greens, and clustered blooms that feel naturally rooted in the sand rather than formally arranged. There’s a strong “gathered from a lush coastal garden” energy, complete with sculptural greenery, wispy and directional lines, and meadow-like bloom placement—creating the feeling that the ceremony emerged organically from the beach itself. Blue Grass Project bespoke cascading bouquet for lovely bride Jonah Garcia, carrying freshness down the aisle and into the sea breeze as she walks toward Adam Mills on their altar date by the beach at The Bellevue Resort. Would you believe we designed this exhibition centerpiece almost 20 years ago? Commissioned by the Department of Trade and Industry, this focal point display stood inside a massive inflatable tent set up at Island City Mall’s sprawling carpark.
