The Shelf A bookshop by a bookworm. Doubling up as a gearshop by a geargeek. Both coming from the same shelf, so to speak. Located in Panglao, Bohol, Philippines.

When we say "The Shelf", we mean specifically the bottom left shelf. That's the spot in one of our book cases where some of the books my kin and I have finished go. It’s also the place where extra copies go. These books go there, not because we don't enjoy them anymore (we still get to; the joy of extra copies!). These books go there, because, as a fast-growing family, we need to make ends meet. B

ut, on top of that, these books go there, because we know that, outside the confines of our study, there are kindred souls destined—so to speak—to enjoy and savor the truth, beauty, and goodness we ourselves have cherished in their pages. Excellent ambient machine. Great for both guitars and synths. Boasts of great delay, reverb, and chorus. But where it shines brightest IMHO is its granular synthesis and phrase sampler (also great for math rock, yes).

Opened only once for testing and for comparison with Red Panda’s Tensor, to see which of them two I’d need more for the kind of music I make. I think the Tensor fits in more. But those dabbling in ambience, post rock and math rock would certainly get a musical high with the Qi!

Comes with its original box, factory literature and freebies.

More than a thousand pages worth of works from more than a thousand years' worth of philosophical pondering. This is indeed a treasury. For it is filled with treasures from across the centuries. Featuring both the well-known thinkers and those who deserve to be better known.

Casio MT-18 for only 2500 pesos!

This vintage 1986 keyboard called Casio MT-18 is the larger (but still small) version of the PT-80, with 8 monophonic square wave sounds that surely brings nostalgia. The rhythm section is where it shines though, with some great grooves and blips a bit reminiscent of old video games.

It has audio output (on pic). It has the auto chord feature (which Casio is known for) on one side (on pic).

Comes with a ROM pack for a demo and practice song (on pic).

In great condition. Well preserved. Used with care.
